LEMEL is a Canadian Family own/ operating company founded in 2022, with its manufacturing base in Toronto, Canada. Early in 2022, LEMEL and its directors relocated operations to Canada, emphasizing the strength of locally sourced manufacturing.
Today, LEMEL operates its own private workshop in Toronto, Canada to maintain complete control over the garment creation and screen printing processes—from concept to dispatch. This approach ensures the highest quality of prints and materials for our dedicated fans and collectors.
What is LEMEL:
LEMEL is derived from a French word referring to metal flakes that are by-products of jewelry making, typically in gold or other precious metals. These metal flakes, much like cotton fibers, have little intrinsic value on their own; their worth is realized when they are combined to create a finished product that is visually appealing and valued as a precious metal.
LEMEL embodies the principle that "we are stronger together," much like how individual gold flakes come together to form something valuable. This philosophy underpins the LEMEL brand, which is proudly sourced and manufactured in Canada.
